Otherwise known as Professor Mercury
Very little information is yet known on this enigmatic character. From this entry [1], we have deduced that M, the story's narrator, is more widely known as Professor Mercury. He owns a business, "Professor Mercury's Mercuriosities," which specializes in providing a "mystical collection of artifacts and wonders from the four corners of the world (and beyond)." The only known item provided by his shop is an Alchemy Starter Set, which he has begun distributing around the world to various recipients who have either correctly answered a riddle, won a contest of chance, or stumbled across the box by some other circumstance.
M leads followers through the story by giving them riddles and puzzles which, once solved, provide more context to the overall story arch. Solving these riddles usually results in the solver being rewarded with an item from M. Items awarded thus far include The Blue Key[2] and Alchemy Starter Sets[3].
